Hippo Truck

I've been working on a recent project for the past few days that I FINALLY "finished".

                                                   I started with a sketch of my initial idea.

I fetched out the lines again and added color (with gradients) 

here- taking out unnecessary things I had before.

Considering my idea, I needed to texture the center, change the colors 

a bit and add a few things (like pores and shadows) to really make it show more.

I changed the lighting to add contrast and really push the time of day

and mood in the scene I originally wanted.

Finally, I "finished" it by adding motion blurs, smoke and bumping the contrast

a bit more so it looks like its moving. 

And there you have it. A hippo train. Or truck. No, it's a train.

Title Card?

 Started finalizing ideas in my pitch bible and decided to make title cards- starting with simpler ideas.

sketched this one first.

the I expanded it and fixed up the lines (somewhat)

added some words from this character and his brother (I took out the title name) and I have this.I did this in an hour and this is only my first draft of the idea. More cards (or updates) to come later.

1-hour challenge

Tried a new style and what's more I gave myself only an hour to see what I could do with it. I don't hate it, I may even work on it again in the future, but my work flow has improved I think!

Bite's signature

Signature moves I made for Bite (formerly known as Bito). Also, not sure if I wanted ears or not, so I had one with and one without to see which I'd like more.

The Heart

An idea I had a while ago, but never fixed up like my other work. By the way, this
version is MUCH less gory than my original idea.

Munch

Following my Bite character, is this kid, Munch. I'm seriously considering a side 

project of those two characters now, but again, I'll see. And no,

that's not his real name- but an alias.

final update of the lab

My final update of this project. Added a little texture (I think the tree is new) and messed with the house's glow.

Updated wip

Added shadows, removed and added some objects and gave it a bit of depth. I may update once more, but that wold be my end for this lab art.

Logo

My new logo. Probably keeping this one for now.

Mini-self

A color edit on a character I made to more fit my own image. Still thinking on the side-comic thing, but it'd be with me instead of Bito.
