Its been THAT long

Honestly, I'm not sure just how many times I've 

redesigned this character.Tons- he's the main character I draw and has 

been for about two years. If not for this character, I doubt I'd

be continuing my media based career.

This character plays a large role in my career.

Guppy

Had a dream about a fish.

So I made a rainbow fish to get it off my mind.

Just before I continue work on the web comic.

The beginning

I figure I'd post the title page for now and get to work on my other stuff 

(because I DO want to finish this!). Also, I'm not 100% sure I want to post all of my 

pages on this blog and flood it so I may or may not make a 

separate blog or website to feature this comic, 

but I'll post a link to whichever it is I'm doing for this.

Alpha Bomb?

As I mentioned a while back, I will be working on a web comic. 

Not sure how often I'll be posting about this project or work for it, but there are many sketches

already done so we'll see. These two are my main characters, by the way.

More on the may come up later.

Back to work

A rough sketch to get back into work motion after spring break. 

Also, I do not have a dog, but if I did have one, it would have to

look like this. Simplistic.

Surfin' Cat

An idea a friend gave me that I decided to sketch and color. 

Also, the headband was my idea. 

Because surfin' cat doesn't have hair to push in the wind.

Updating a bit

 I looked over my previous work and updated a few of them. Remember: 

They're "Finished", not finished.

The second

This guy... he is possibly more afraid than he needs to be.

Todd 1

So yeah...

There's a guy in a bear suit named Todd.

And there's a snail named fear.

And this happens... alot.

I have to finish my other sketches of these two characters

( I've drawn out many already, but none "finished")

Hippo Truck

I've been working on a recent project for the past few days that I FINALLY "finished".

                                                   I started with a sketch of my initial idea.

I fetched out the lines again and added color (with gradients) 

here- taking out unnecessary things I had before.

Considering my idea, I needed to texture the center, change the colors 

a bit and add a few things (like pores and shadows) to really make it show more.

I changed the lighting to add contrast and really push the time of day

and mood in the scene I originally wanted.

Finally, I "finished" it by adding motion blurs, smoke and bumping the contrast

a bit more so it looks like its moving. 

And there you have it. A hippo train. Or truck. No, it's a train.
